Officer Noreen Vargas

Imet Noreen when I promoted and was trans-
ferred to the Baldwin Park office in Los
Angeles. I worked and played with Noreen for
two years before transferring back home to
northern California.

Noreen's life was taken in a freak accident
on the I-10 freeway. A tractor-trailer
traveling in the opposite direction lost a
set of tires, which flew to the other side of
the freeway, landing on the roof of Noreen's
vehicle. Noreen is survived by her daughter,
twin sister, brothers, and parents.
