Officer Scott Greenly
Scott worked for me in San Jose, from 1996
through January 7, 1998. He decided to go
to motor school. He practiced hard and passed.
Scott loved being a motorcycle officer.
Scott was conducting a traffic stop on the
right
shoulder of SR-85 when an intoxicated
driver struck
him. The intoxicated driver
drove onto the shoulder,
around the right
side of his patrol car and struck
Scott as he
stood at the right front passenger door
of the
vehicle he had stopped. Scott is survived by
his mother, stepfather, brother (Scott's
brother
was killed in a motorcycle accident a
few years
later), two sisters, and a stepsister.
